Dr. Alson Chan is the Foundation Fellow in the sub-specialty of Paediatric Immunology and Infectious Disease, and is currently serving as the Vice-President of Allergy Prevention & Control Committee of Guangdong Preventive Medicine Association, Deputy Head in paediatric allergy subcommittee of Chinese Research Hospital Association, Honorary Secretary of Hong Kong Society for Paediatric Immunology Allergy & Infectious Diseases, Chairman of education training & fellowship committee and council member of Hong Kong Institute of Allergy, Chairman of education committee and executive committee member of the Federation of Medical Societies of Hong Kong, Organizing Committee of Hong Kong Allergy Convention, Advisor of Hong Kong Allergy Association, Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor of the University of Hong Kong and Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Dr. Chan received medical fellowship awards and completed his subspecialty training in Boston Children’s Hospital of Harvard Medical School and Great Ormond Street Hospital of UCL Institute of Child Health, London. His main research interests are allergy prevention and treatment. He is the corresponding author of the Guidelines for Allergy Prevention and the co-author of the Guidelines for Prevention of Peanut Allergy in Hong Kong.
